28 June 2005: Perfect barrell wave shaped at the South facing beach at The Wedge in Newport Beach gets their first large swell of the summer. Body Surfers, Boogie Boarders, sponge riders, skim boarders and surfers caught waves in size from 10-20' feet today at this famous beach in Southern California. Water and Air temperature were 65' with a small offshore wind in the Pacific Ocean.
